Cookie & storage policy

Cookies and similar storage

D Music uses a small amount of first-party storage for core functions. Optional permissions can be changed from “Privacy & cookie settings” in the footer.

Strictly necessary / functional

Consent record

When you save privacy/cookie choices, D Music may store a versioned first-party consent receipt in D1 using a one-way pseudonymous visitor hash, your selected options, broad region metadata and a timestamp. It does not store a raw IP address in the consent receipt. These receipts are retained for up to 730 days.

Optional analytics storage

If you consent to analytics, dmusic-analytics-session-v1 is stored in session storage for the current browser tab/session. It is a random identifier used to calculate pages per session. It is not used for advertising and D Music does not store a raw IP address or user-agent string in its analytics table.

Precise location

GPS is not a cookie and is not requested until you opt in. Your browser can still deny the request.

Google advertising cookies

When Google ads are enabled, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies or similar identifiers for ad serving, frequency capping, measurement and, where permitted by your choices, personalisation. You can manage Google ad personalisation in Google Ads Settings. See How Google uses data on partner sites and apps.

Advertising

The site contains the AdSense publisher verification meta tag. Advertising scripts/storage should only be activated in line with the user's choices and Google's applicable consent requirements. For personalised Google ads in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google requires a certified CMP integrated with IAB TCF.

Change your choice

Open D Music and select Privacy & cookie settings in the footer. Browser site settings can also delete cookies/local storage and revoke geolocation permission.
